Everything you need to know about ABA therapy and working with Cedaria.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a research-supported approach that helps children build communication, social, and daily-living skills. It breaks meaningful goals into achievable steps and teaches them through positive reinforcement, with progress measured along the way.
We typically serve children from about 18 months through 15 years of age. Our early-intervention focus supports toddlers and preschoolers, while older programs target social, academic-readiness, and independence skills.
We’re happy to help you understand your coverage options, including insurance and private pay. Reach out and we’ll look into your specific benefits and walk you through what to expect before you commit to anything.
Reach out through our consultation form or give us a call. We’ll learn about your child, verify your insurance, schedule an assessment with a BCBA, and then build an individualized plan to begin therapy.
Requirements vary by insurance plan. Many plans require an autism diagnosis and/or a physician referral for ABA services. Don’t worry — our care coordinators will guide you through exactly what your plan needs.
It depends on your child’s individual needs and goals. After the assessment, your BCBA will recommend a number of weekly hours, which can range from focused (a few hours) to comprehensive (25+ hours) programs.
We offer center-based therapy at our clinic, in-home therapy within your daily environment, and telehealth sessions. Many families use a combination, and your BCBA will help determine the best fit.
Absolutely. Parents and caregivers are essential partners. We provide ongoing coaching so you can support and reinforce progress at home, and we review data and goals with you regularly.
